band members were from my hometown of Arlington Heights, Ill - they had a big
hit with Gloria; a true garage band that covered a number of blues
tunes and turned them into Rock and Roll songs. Gloria is one of the
first songs I ever learned to play on guitar and have been playing it ever
since. It was great to meet Jimy Sohns, the lead singer and who is the only
original band member still with the band. |
